Family Nurse Practitioner

Karissa Vasquez, APRN, is part of the outstanding medical team at Florida Diabetes and Endocrine Center. She is a certified family nurse practitioner with substantial experience in glycemic (diabetes) management and has previously served on the nursing staffs at both AdventHealth East Orlando and AdventHealth Winter Park. Karissa was an honors student at the University of West Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and at the University of South Alabama, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. Her clinical interests include health promotion and chronic disease management, patient education, medication management and nutrition.
