Erin Blackburn, MSN, APRN, NP-C, has been providing specialized endocrinology services to adult patients at AdventHealth Medical Group’s diabetes and endocrinology practices in Winter Garden and Celebration for more than 10 years. She performs assessments and diagnoses and manages endocrine conditions including Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, polycystic ovary syndrome, hypogonadism, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis. She also orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests and prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies. In addition, she performs and interprets in-office thyroid ultrasounds. A member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Erin is a three-time recipient of the Patient Experience Award for achieving patient satisfaction in the 99th percentile.
