Carmina Charles, MD is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism with board eligibility in diabetes, metabolism and medical genetics and as a physician nutrition specialist. As a member of the esteemed medical team at Florida Diabetes and Endocrine Center in Orlando, she specializes in treating women with polycystic ovary syndrome; thyroid disorders; diabetes; metabolism and nutrition disorders; and related conditions. She is a graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine in the Commonwealth of Dominica who underwent her residency training at Orlando Health followed by back-to-back fellowships in clinical nutrition and endocrinology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she capped her tenure as Chief Endocrinology Fellow. Dr. Charles is a tri-lingual provider with fluency in English, Creole and French.
